Interesting book. Brand new.
Great book, well worth reading if you have any interest in the esoteric field.
Decent book
The version from Anubis Books could be much better, especially considering that they have republished Crowley's other works. The version of the Book of Lies here lacks Crowley's essential 1921 commentary. It is odd, as the Book of the Law had previously been published by them with its commentary in a lone edition, but it is not here either. Unfortunately, the publisher does not leave any contact details. It is a shame, as the compilation itself is good, and the script Crowley often used is preserved. The publisher also leaves a statement of preserving his writing style. There is also one blank page, which obviously comes from a typesetting error. What gives?
His work is good.However, at times there is a madness and rambling that only a drug induced state could bring about. The over all content is dragged down because of it. If you can pass by the madness there is a lot of great stuff.
A poorly written book with no clear direction.
Good binding, concise yet completr
It’s still a great find and super rare I think but it’s not what I thought it was going to be I expected to be reading his life story from his point of view and it was just the poetry he published over the years
I'm on the end of the delivery line, And it kind of shows. Most of my packages have a small defect. Because they've been stuck in between other bigger Materials. With books that's unfortunate because the books I buy are also for collaction. Otherwise I would just e- download it.But the book itself is intriguing. It's very interesting to see a connartist / A normal person/ A meglomaniac And that VS somebody who may have had strong Paranormal gifts . and all within the same person. Very interesting but I would not buy insurance from him.

This gives a great introduction to the writings of the master therion and a broad insight into his mind .loved it

I don’t know. Maybe just not for me. Really seems like poetry and fleeting thoughts.I thought it would be a more coherent text about his beliefs and about Thelema, but it feels more like a personal diary. Barely coherent.But if you like that sort of thing and want to wade through it I suppose it’s fine. Personally, I’d rather just read a Wikipedia page.
I know the hard copies looked like a nice thing to have on the shelf, I was worried the paperback version may lack some content, but I am happy with my book and look forward to ordering the second volume. A great place to start for anyone curious in Crowley.
