After captivating readers with her hit series Aunt Aglaé's Manor Mysteries, Ena Fitzbel now takes you to the heart of Provence with Murder in the Lavenders, a sparkling cozy mystery, as funny as it is thrilling.
Investigation, humor, romance, and suspense await you.
Let yourself be charmed by the enchanting atmosphere of a Provençal manor, where a strong-willed private detective must unmask a murderer… while dealing with a seductive impostor and a mischievous Maltese bichon.
Synopsis :
Alyssa Durif thought she was on a routine investigation: catching a jewel thief at a high-society reception in Provence. But death invited itself to the party.
The police? Sidelined.
The murderer? Still around.
And to top it all off, a stranger as charming as he is mysterious – Van Krif – improvises as a detective and muddies the waters.
Amidst this chaos, only one remains imperturbable: Poussinou, a luxury Maltese bichon, the unwitting mascot of this thorny affair.
Fortunately, Alyssa has more than one trick up her sleeve. And she fully intends to unmask the culprits. With humor, wit… without falling for Van Krif’s charm. Well… maybe!
