Anne Frank's Diary - Graphic Novel (Paperback)

Ari Folman and David Polonsky, screenwriter and illustrator of Waltz with Bashir, created this graphic novel adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank.

Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt. Her family emigrated to the Netherlands in 1933.

In Amsterdam, she had a happy childhood until 1942, despite the war.

On July 6, 1942, the Frank family went into hiding in "the Annexe" of the building at 263 Prinsengracht, where Anne wrote her diary.

On August 4, 1944, the family was arrested, presumably after being denounced.

Deported to Auschwitz, then to Bergen-Belsen, Anne died of typhus in February or March 1945,
shortly after her sister Margot.
