1995, London.

Joanna Haslam, a brilliant London journalist who hasn't had much luck lately, is pulled out of bed by her boss to cover the funeral of Sir James Harrison, a famous British actor who has just passed away at the venerable age of 95. A society report unlikely to boost her career…

And yet, beneath the luxury and glamour surrounding the Harrison dynasty, Joanna soon uncovers a secret. Determined to unveil over seventy years of lies and mystery, the young woman realizes she has become the target of high-ranking individuals, ready to do anything to prevent the truth from coming out.

Will Marcus Harrison, the charismatic – and very disturbing – grandson of the great actor, be an ally or an enemy in this quest for truth?

A forbidden love, a dangerous secret, and a story repeating itself…
