Peter Pan and Wendy

Peter and Wendy is James Matthew Barrie's adaptation of his famous play Peter Pan; or, The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up (1904). The novel was first published in 1911 by the prestigious London publishing house Hodder & Stoughton, thus beginning its journey towards literary immortality.
This edition brings together the original text enriched with the sublime illustrations by Alice Bolingbroke Woodward, taken from Peter Pan’s Picture Book, a small work from 1907 of which only 250 copies were printed, marking the very first illustrated version of the legendary character's adventures.
