The magic of Versailles may not be where you expect it...

In July 1958, the Palace of Versailles is abuzz with excitement. In a few days, the highly anticipated debutante ball will take place.

From dusk till dawn, nearly three hundred young women from French aristocracy or wealthy American families will make their entry into high society.

Among them are the lovely Amelia, the brilliant Felicity, the courageous Samantha, and the delicate Caroline.

Far from meekly accepting their fate, the four young women, soon to be friends, decide to seize this exceptional evening to emancipate themselves and take control of their destiny.
