A FROG IN THE FJORD – THE ADVENTURES OF A FRENCHWOMAN IN NORWAY

Bestseller in Norway – Over 20,000 copies sold worldwide – Recommended by Forbes magazine.

Can one truly find happiness in the happiest country in the world?

Embark with Lorelou Desjardins, a Frenchwoman from Provence, on her Norwegian adventure full of humor, snow, and surprises. Moving to Oslo for a new job, she expects to face a freezing climate and reserved inhabitants. But she discovers a fascinating country, with unusual traditions, spectacular landscapes, and a well-being culture known locally as koselig.

Between northern lights, hikes in the fjords, stays in cabins without water or electricity, and improbable encounters with Norwegians named Tor or Truls, Lorelou gradually learns to understand and love this Nordic society. With humor, tenderness, and self-deprecation, she recounts her efforts to integrate, learn the language, make friends, and decipher the mysteries of Norwegian romantic relationships.

Recommended by Forbes as "a revealing book about real Scandinavia" and a bestseller in Norway, A Frog in the Fjord: The Adventures of a Frenchwoman in Norway has become a classic for all those who dream of travel in Norway, Nordic expatriation, or simply cultural and human discovery.

Whether you are passionate about Scandinavia, a fan of travel stories, or looking for inspiration for a new start, this book will make you laugh, think, and fall in love with Norway.
